* The Cultural Education Centers are resort areas that are owned and operated by the Korean teachers' union and are only available to the teachers and their guests. They are not western type hotels and the staff may not speak English. It would be very difficult to contact us while we are staying there. Mr. Lee is the one who arranged for our stay and he would be aware of where we are during the entire time we are in South Korea.
** Zushi Marina, which we talk about in chapter 5 in our book, is available only to members, or through members. It is a traditional Japanese ryokan with tatami floors and futon for sleeping. No English is spoken there as far as we know.
If you should need to contact us while we are gone, please be advised that not all the phone numbers are complete for making international calls. You may need to get help from the international operator.
Please keep in mind that there is a 12-14 hour time difference between the USA and Japan and Australia and a lessor time difference in other places we will be visiting, so check that out before trying to contact us.
